The Root of Nightmates raid is considered to be one of the easier Destiny 2 raids, but it's still impressive that it took a month for a single player to earn this accomplishment. The Snazzy Rock took on the former Disciple of The Witness all by his lonesome, using key Exotics such as Eriana's Vow and Sunbracer Gauntlets as part of his strategy.
At least that's the experience for most players, as one Guardian has managed to defeat the final god of pain himself, Nezarec, without any help from his fireteam. Destiny 2 raids are generally one of the toughest PvE activities in the game, as they usually require tight teamwork, coordination, and plenty of firepower, especially when you reach the final boss.
